Do you know that there are numerous times where Adolf Hitler was tried to assassinate but some how he escaped. One such plot was famous July 20 plot of 1944 where he was tried to slewed inside his Wolf's Lair field headquarters near Rastenburg, East Prussia.

The ploy was designed by Stauffenberg, hearing the sound of the explosion and viewing the smoke from the broken windows of the concrete dispatch barracks, assumed that Hitler was dead. Later he came to know that ploy was failure one.
